- 1943
- Tokyo Koa Glass bottle Industry Co., Ltd. was established.
- 1948
- In July, The company name was changed to the present name, Koa Glass Co., Ltd.
- 1949
- In March, Wako Seiki Co., Ltd., a subsidiary, was established by separating the mold, polishing, and silicon processing divisions.
- 1955
- In April, Komatsu River Plant was built and started operations in Edogawa Ward.
- 1962
- In December, Koa completed a fully-automated Ofuna plant in Fujisawa, Kanagawa Prefecture, and began operations.
- 1967
- Koa established a fully-automated Ichikawa Plant in Chidori, Ichikawa City, Chiba Prefecture.
- 1972
- The manufacturing division of the head office was transferred to the Ichikawa Plant. Koa Container Co., Ltd. was established to sell semi-artificial bottles and packaging containers.
- 1976
- On April 1, Koa ACL Ltd., a subsidiary, was established by separating its print processing and inspection division.
- 1983
- On August 2, Osaka Sales Office opened in Kitahama, Chuo-ku,Osaka City.
- 1991
- On March 19, Ryounan Pack Co., Ltd. was established in Ayase City, Kanagawa Prefecture, and began operation as a factory for inspection and shrink processing.
- 1994
- In October, Shanghai Koa Glass Trading Co., Ltd. was established in Shanghai, China.
- 1996
- In June, Shanghai Koa-Glass Co., Ltd. completed a fully automated bottle factory, which has a complete automation line from bottle manufacturing to bottle processing.
- 2000
- In June, Ichikawa Plant obtained the "Quality ISO" certification.
- 2001
- In December, Ofuna Plant obtained the "Quality ISO" certification
- 2002
- In January, Shanghai Koa-Glass Co., Ltd. obtained the certification of "Quality ISO."
- 2003
- In January, Koa's head office obtained the certification of "Quality ISO."
- 2003
- In June, Koa's head office obtained the "Environmental ISO" certification.
- 2005
- In January, Ofuna Plant obtained the "Environmental ISO" certification
- 2006
- In September, Ichikawa Plant obtained the "Environmental ISO" certification
- 2019
- KOA won the Tokyo Metropolitan Governor's Grand Prize of Skills & Human Resource Development Award for Small and Medium Enterprise.

KOA Glass Ichikawa Plant has been registered as a certified Chiba SDGs Partner.
In June 2022, KOA Glass Ichikawa Plant was certified as a Chiba SDGs Partner (Registration No. 1095) for its efforts in SDG activities, including the introduction of carbon neutral LNG, internal educational activities, harassment education for all employees including company executives, and the manufacture, processing, and sale of products of reuse glass cullet. KOA Glass Ichikawa Plant will continue to contribute to the conservation of the global environment and the protection of natural resources through all activities that support a society capable of sustainable development with less burden on the environment. -

KOA’s Glass Jar is Now Used in Loop Project.
Shiseido AQUA LABEL's "Special Gel Cream A (Oil-in)" will go on sale in Loop Japan's "Loop EC" which will start on August 31st. Our product has been adopted as the container for this product. This cream is the first skincare product for Loop Japan. We have developed this product to be highly durable and to give a sense of luxury. -
